Premium Individual Services
For children and families who may benefit from more personalised support, Launchpad offers a limited number of one-to-one appointments. Before individual sessions begin, an assessment is needed—or, where appropriate, Launchpad can review a recent, suitable assessment completed elsewhere. This helps us understand your child’s unique strengths and needs, confirm that one-to-one support is the right fit, and thoughtfully plan meaningful goals from the very beginning.
Fees reflect the dedicated clinical time involved in your child’s care, including individual sessions, preparation, personalised planning, documentation and caregiver feedback. As appointment spaces are limited, availability will be discussed with your family following the assessment or review.
Pricing note: All fees are in New Zealand dollars and include GST.
Individual speech-language therapy
Individual therapy provides targeted support for agreed goals. Areas may include early communication, receptive and expressive language, speech sounds, motor speech, social communication, AAC or functional communication. An assessment or review of existing information may be required before therapy begins.

How individual therapy appointment time is used
The booked time and fee include direct work with the child as well as the preparation, progress note-writing and caregiver feedback needed to provide a safe and useful service.
Approximate allocations are:

One-on-One Structured Literacy Sessions
Structured literacy sessions are matched to your child’s current skills and learning needs. They may support phonological and phonemic awareness, letter-sound knowledge, blending, segmenting, decoding, spelling, fluency, vocabulary and confident home practice.

Individual Parent-Coaching Consultation
A private 60-minute consultation for one family. Sessions focus on the family’s goals, routines and priorities and may include demonstration, guided practice, feedback, home strategies and progress review.
Fee (includes GST): $165 for 60 minutes
